‘Change This City’ is a broad vision of community transformation that involves a number of projects and events - all of which require an active application of faith and serving. CTC Equip is intended to engage youth in the transformation process, encouraging them to be bold agents of change! It is a weekly meeting for individuals ranging from ages 14-19. Its main purpose is to teach, equip, encourage, and release youth into their destiny in God. In doing so, we believe that God will use each person to facilitate change in this city and ultimately the nations of the world.

We focus on building leadership skills and civic responsibility and we strive to encourage and equip youth to act on their passionate interests. Our desire is to create a welcoming and non-judgemental environment where individuals can ask questions, be engaged by relevant messages, learn from each other’s experiences, be challenged, build relationships, and have fun!

We apply a non-religious approach to understanding the Gospel by focusing on a personal relationship with Jesus. We’re all seeking a real and authentic experience with God and likewise, we desire to express that experience in ways that make sense to us. We challenge youth to go beyond the church walls in order to impact the world and make a difference in the lives of those around them. We believe that the substance of Jesus must be supported by church structure, but not contained by it.
